Giant Merchandising burst onto the scene in 1990 as a joint venture between famed rock manager Irving Azoff and Warner Bros., quickly becoming synonymous with iconic band tees and rock fandom in the ’90s. From Nirvana to Metallica, their bold designs and frequent use of high-quality blanks (like Anvil and Tultex) set them apart from other merchandise giants. Despite expanding into Warner Bros. movie/cartoon merchandise and introducing memorable tags—like the “Skull” tag in 2004—Giant’s t-shirt production ended around 2013, leaving behind a legendary imprint on rock apparel culture.
