Opened on October 31, 1991, by Michael D. Blutrich on East 60th Street, Scores Showroom quickly became a legendary New York strip club beloved by Howard Stern and celebrities like Russell Crowe. Frequently featured on The Howard Stern Show, Scores was known for its wild antics, exclusive events, and vibrant nightlife. Despite expanding to multiple Manhattan locations, the club struggled with legal issues, including ties to organized crime and tax evasion, ultimately closing in December 2008. Scores Showroom remains a memorable part of NYC’s nightlife history, forever linked to Howard Stern’s iconic broadcasts.
