Bernard’s Surf, located at the corner of Atlantic Avenue (A1A) and Minutemen Causeway in Cocoa Beach, was an iconic gathering spot for astronauts, locals, and visitors throughout the Space Age era. Opened by Bernard Fischer on Halloween night in 1948, the restaurant hosted countless celebrations—ranging from anniversaries to happy hours—before closing in 2010. It's legacy endures in the many memories made at this beloved Floridian landmark.
