Far were a Sacramento post-hardcore/emo band whose 1998 album Water & Solutions became a cult touchstone; they’re best known for the single “Mother Mary” and tours with friends like Deftones and Incubus. The band split in 1999, reunited in 2008, and released the comeback album At Night We Live in 2010 before becoming inactive again.
