Before Orlando was all bottle service and dress codes, there was Visage—the dark, neon-lit heart of the city’s goth, industrial, and New Wave scene. Tucked away at 6341 N Orange Blossom Trail, this was the spot where you’d catch Nine Inch Nails, The Ramones, or The Psychedelic Furs before they blew up. If you were lucky, you danced under the strobes to a Paul Vaine set, or at the very least, blacked out on the fog machine fumes. By the early ‘90s, Visage was gone, but for those who were there, it never really left.
